Entering the cave will bring you to Victory Road, the final dungeon-like area of the game before you take on the best trainers in the world at the Pokemon League, which is just on the other side of the cave. However, the cave is vast, and depending on the strength of your party, you may be hard-pressed to get through it in one push with all of the trainers in the area, and all. If you feel like you might be too weak, bring healing items and Escape Ropes with you, that way your party is never in any real danger outside of battle.
The Sinnoh Victory Road is very complicated. A lot of Trainers are there to challenge you. There are 3 levels that you can now access. Go inside when you are ready. First, cross the bridge, climb down the wall, head west to fight Psychic Bryce and collect TM41 Torment. Next, head east from Bryce and get the hidden Ultra Ball in one of the rocks at the southeast part. Then, head back to where you climbed down. Climb up and head east.
Like the other Victory Roads from previous generations, there are three levels. Along the path, a young woman named Marley will need the player's help to get through a foggy area of the cave. Victory Road is a large, multi-floor cave, which requires the use of multiple HM moves to be fully explored. Unlike other Victory Roads, this one has a side cave which can't be explored when the player first goes through the cave, only becoming accessible during the post-game. When entering the east side of Victory Road for the first time after defeating the Elite Four , Marley will offer to travel through the rest of the cave with the player, participating in Double Battles with her Arcanine. In addition to any HMs listed below, Rock Climb is required to reach this area. Note: Trainers listed below may be battled either in Single or in Double Battle mode, optionally with Marley as the partner. Views Article Discussion View source History. We're updating our policies!
You'll need to cross Route to get to Victory Road, which is a cave that leads to the Pokemon League. There is a Pokemon Center outside, so you'll have a chance to Fly back and grab some items or heal up later. For now, have a Pokemon that can learn Surf and Waterfall in your party, and head north out of Sunyshore City. Hit the waves and continue north past all the trainers. Feel free to enter the cave and gain some levels, then healing at the Pokemon Center before actually attempting to cross the cave. Continue left, but don't jump any of the ledges or you'll have to return to the start.
